Happy Birthday

Here's a different tag game. I thought it would be appropriate to post on my birthday. Leave a memory comment. Come on, you didn't get me anything else.

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!
2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you.
It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you.

OK, so many memories, cuz I've know you like, what, almost 30 years? Let's see...I remember kicking fresh salsa all over your nice white shoes on our way to Santa Cruz...I remember watching the moon set and shooting stars..."loosing it" at girls camp...hiding ALL your belongings at girls camp...changing my mom's alarm clock...New Years Eve 89/90...driving to Vegas for my wedding and getting up insanely early to do my hair and makeup...you being the first one to tell I liked J...gosh I could go on and on. You are one of my oldest and dearest friends and I love ya!

I thought of more...Sunday afternoon brownie bricks...waiting for my mom to pick us up after ballet, and laughing at people looking at us...temple trips;telling people their tires...where going around...going to school with you and you with me during spring break...breathing in the bathroom...see, I told you I could go on and on!

We had so much fun at Famous Dave's
Pigging out together...

And blueberry picking, how about saving the baby from an attacking feline?

I hope we have years more to come of family visits to enjoy one another.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

I am waiting for my mom so we can leave-but that could still take awhile. I want to say Happy Birthday from all of us here. I have a picture I found that I want to scan and post of all of us at my first young womens in excellence or new beginnings-I can't remember which. Dove, you and I and Jodi are all in it. That is my quick brief memory I have. GOt to go but hope your day is a happy one!

I always loved sleeping or lounging under the stars with you. We would get "cosmic" and consider how many eons before birth that we were friends. To many more eons, my friend! Happy Birthday.
Love you.

I enjoyed hearing your voice on Sunday. I enjoyed holding your babyies and playing pedicure with our girls and baseball with the boys. I love that you would drive 13 kids in a van 10 hours to come and play with us. Happy Birthday!

Marla, as impressive as 13 kids sounds, 5 of them were yours, and in your van, and you drove 3x as long (almost).

Opps! I still think 8 kids in a van 10 hours is impressive. Especially with teenagers and 2 infants!
