Saturday, Isaac and I finally got our schedules matched up with the weather and played paintball, like we have been planning to do since his birthday in February--And I have the bruises to prove it.We hooked up with some boys who didn't want to play with the kids with all the high-tech equipment. They thought we would be easy meat, and were surprised by our skill (beginners luck). I had only played paintball once before, but I had read a couple of paintball magazines cover to cover because for a long time, it was the only reading material in the bathroom. I made a few kills early on, but Isaac was more successful in that arena. I was really good at providing cover for teammates to advance.
Isaac credited his success to strategic video games. I guess simulative training works.
I don't know what the stink I just did to make the text do that. I don't have time to figure it out. It is time for scouts and Achievement Days.
