Home again

I got home yesterday at 4 a.m. after driving all night through wind and then rain and then under the stress of having lost my wallet, seeking those gas stations that would accept personal checks and being careful not to be pulled over. I stopped to nap 3 times or I would have been home sooner. I will not be trying that drive in one day again.

I did find my wallet inside the car when I arrived home. I slept from 4 to 6:30 and then took the kids to school, went back to bed at 8:30 and woke up around noon. The kids are back at their dad's house.

Thank you so much to Devanie who made our stay pleasant and is still suffering from the effects of it. My family is a treasure to me and I cherish any time I get to spend with them. I hope to give my children many more fond memories of time with family.

Welcome to my first day of blogging. Devanie made me do it!

It is Thanksgiving day, so we have been fixing food and eating. But most of all, giving thanks.

The kids had a BLAST at Aunt Devanie and Uncle Nathan's. IT SNOWED!
